"LeMans" type starts where all cars are lined up on an angle to the racing line in order. - Run track in reverse rotation for mains. - Rolling starts MOST IMPORTANTLY: If it's not in the rules,
and does not encompass the spirit of slower, controlled racing with realistic looking cars, consider it illegal. This is called the "Spirit of VTA"
Rule. The class is based on slower, equal playing field competition with less
traction, minimal aerodynamic aids and mostly older carpet racing technology.
The final objective is close, fair, wheel-to-wheel racing for all. All decisions of the
race promoter or track owner are final. Participants
at Indy Slots are also strongly encouraged to use their own AMB compatable transponders and must Marshall races after
racing in their heats.
Driver's are responsible for their actions at all times as well as those in their party.
Common sence will apply at all times and the Race Director will have ultimate responsibility in determining what is fair and
legal in all classes. The goal is to keep the racing at Indy Slots as competitive and fun as possible. We look forward to
your participation and ask for your support in achieving our goals.
We Have other Classes at Indy Slots
also, so please check the "rules page" often for rule updates on other classes not mentioned yet.
