Welcome to Indy Slots! Home of World Class scale racing in Indianapolis. Although founded with an emphasis on 1/24 scale slot car racing, Indy Slots also features both indoor and outdoor RC racing. Our nearly 7,000 sq. ft. indoor facility houses a 110' high-banked 1/24 scale Dadd's Tri-Oval, a 1/8 mile lazer-leveled drag strip, and a 60' four-lane HO scale track set up in an aggressive road course configuration. For the RC racers, we have a 65' x 34' ozite indoor carpet track where we race 1/18, 1/12 and 1/10 scale RC cars and trucks. We also have a 120' x 80' out-door dirt track sutiable for eletric Monster truck and buggy racing with an elevated driver stand (all RC scoring is performed using the AMB transponder system).
A portion of our store is also dedicated to a full line hobby shop where we stock items such as RC airplanes, boats, kites, plastic models, rockets, etc.; however, our primary focus is on RC cars, trucks & buggies and slot cars. The reason for that is this is what we race. Indeed, even our "open hours" are structured around our race schedule. Generally, we race either slot cars or RC cars every night at 7PM (Monday is the exception as we are closed for cleaning, maintance, and re-stocking); therefore, we don't open until 5PM. We wait for you to get off work or out of school, but stay open until the racing is over, typically 10PM. But there is also plenty of time for pratice, as we open at 10AM on Saturdays and 11AM on Sundays.
All of our tracks are available to racers of all skill levels for the low cost of $5.00 per day all day if you own your own car (rentals are available at higher prices). Even when we are hosting a race, there is always one or more of our tracks open for you to pratice on. So please, join in the fun. If you need directions call us at 317-787-(SLOTS) 7568.
